The Baltimore Ravens have now released their Wednesday injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and it shows that four players failed to practice.
Sitting out Wednesday were wide receiver Marlon Brown (back), linebacker Albert McClellan (ankle), cornerback Jimmy Smith (thigh), and tackle Ricky Wagner (knee).
Brown has missed the Ravens last four games while McClellan sat out the game this past Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. While it’s still early in the week, neither are looking like they will make it back for Sunday.
As for Smith, he left the game against the Chiefs early with a thigh injury and the Ravens are hopeful that he’ll be ready to go by Sunday. Wagner, on the other hand, played every snap against the Chiefs.
The Ravens also made one roster move on Wednesday as safety Jermaine Whitehead was signed off of the practice squad of the San Francisco 49ers and tight end Richard Gordon was waived to make room for him.
