Browns Fans Furious After Cleveland Finds New Way To Lose Monday Night

Say what you will about the Monday night game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns, but make sure you at least note that it was entertaining. Especially the final two minutes that included the Browns doing Brown things.

After tying the game at 27 with 1:55 left, the Browns defense forced the Ravens offense to go three and out and punt. However, the Browns offense then returned the favor with a three and out of their own and thus punted the football back to the Ravens with 1:06 remaining. Then, on first down from the Ravens 38-yard-line, Baltimore quarterback Matt Schaub was intercepted by cornerback Tramon Williams and it looked like the Browns might actually wind up having a chance at a game-winning field goal.

After the Browns ran three more plays that gained 13 yards, Cleveland kicker Travis Coons came on to attempt a 51-yard field goal at the end of regulation. Ravens defensive lineman Brent Urban blocked it, however, and safety Will Hill scooped up the loose ball and returned it 64 yards for a touchdown as time expired to beat the Browns, 33-27.

That’s right, the Browns lost on a last-second kick-6. Here are the reactions of a few Browns fans after that final blocked kick happened.

The Pittsburgh Steelers close out their 2015 schedule this year with road games against the Ravens and Browns.
