Season 6, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start things off by going over the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday injury report prior to the Friday one being released.
After talking a little bit more about who may or may not play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, we dive into previewing the game. We talk about the strong Browns deep-pass defense and their poor run defense to start off with and how we’ll be watching Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant very close this weekend to see if he get hit them for a few explosive plays.
Being as the Browns will be starting a rookie at left guard Sunday against the Steelers, David and I discuss how the Pittsburgh defense should go after him with stunts and twists in hopes that outside linebacker Jarvis Jones will be able to get some inside pressure on whichever quarterback winds up getting the start for them.
The Browns would be wise to roll out a lot of 11 personnel against the Steelers on offense and we tell you why that is.
David throws out a few stat related over and unders for Sunday’s game for us to pick.
As usual, we close out our Friday show by giving you our picks for all of the Week 10 games on the NFL schedule and this includes us predicting the final score of the Steelers game against the Browns as well.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
