Steelers’ nation is holding their breaths for good news on Le’Veon Bell’s knee injury.
But some Pittsburgh Steelers are speaking out over what Vontaze Burfict did following the hit that injured the team’s star running back.
Ramon Foster had stern words for the Bengals’ linebacker after what he believes was Burfict celebrating following the play. Per Chris Adamski:
It should be emphasized that included in the tweet is a conflicting report from Ralph Paulk, who says Burfict ran away because of how gruesome Bell’s injury sounded. The tape should help clear up Burfict’s reaction.
The Bengals’ linebacker, activated from the PUP list Saturday, does have a reputation for dirty play. He was fined $25,000 in 2014 after twisting two Carolina Panthers’ ankles after the play. His reputation goes back to his college days at Arizona State, routinely being called for personal fouls.
The extent of Bell’s injury is still not known. Mike Tomlin said after the game he was still being evaluated.
