Season 6, Episode 41 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I get things started by talking about what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say on Tuesday during his weekly press conference,
As usual, Tomlin provided quite a few talking points and that includes us going over his injury updates in addition to the answers he gave to several questions. We discuss what he said about cornerbacks Antwon Blake and Brandon Boykin in addition to his thoughts on the Steelers defense not being able to cover tight ends so far this season.
We have some stats for you in this show as we recap how quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has played in his first games back from injury so far during his career. We also go over the stats of opposing tight ends who the Steelers have faced so far this season.
We move on to give you our initial thoughts on the upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals and then welcome back to the show Paul Dehner Jr., who covers the Bengals for Cincinnati.com. Paul gives us a lot of insight on the undefeated Bengals as we talk about several of their players on both sides of the football. Paul doesn’t believe the Bengals will have an easy go of it Sunday against the Steelers, however, and he’s also expecting a high-scoring contest.
