Because he has yet to be added to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 53 man roster, Martavis Bryant hasn’t had to be listed on the team’s injury report. But throughout the week, there were reports that the Steelers’ receiver missed practice with “soreness.”
Ross Jones of FOX Sports indicates Bryant is missing time after injuring his knee during Monday’s practice.
It’s looking less and less likely that Bryant will be able to suit up Monday night against the San Diego Chargers. If he can’t go, Darrius Heyward-Bey will continue to run as the #3 receiver while Sammie Coates will be active as the #4.
Bryant will hopefully be able to play the following week versus the Arizona Cardinals.
