Season 6, Episode 28 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start off by talking about the left knee injury suffered Sunday by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the win over the St. Louis Rams. Head coach Mike Tomlin told us Monday that the quarterback suffered a sprained MCL, so we speculate how long that might keep him sidelined
During his Monday press conference, Tomlin updated the entire injury list so we go over that as well with the Steelers now only having a few days before their Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
How will Michael Vick do as the Steelers starter while Roethlisberger is sidelined? We discuss that as it relates to his strengths and weaknesses.
David and I move on to recap Sunday’s game against the Rams and that includes us pointing out both the good and the bad on both sides of the football. We discuss key plays in the game in addition to talking about snaps played by a few individual players.
Several other talking points from Tomlin’s press conference are discussed in this show and we also take a small look ahead at the Steelers next four opponents as it relates to possible wins and losses.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
