Season 6, Episode 23 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start things off by going over what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say Tuesday during his weekly press conference. We go over all of the primary talking points and that includes Tomlin’s comments on cornerback Brandon Boykin, clock management, Thursday’s trick play call and more.
Running back Le’Veon Bell will be added back to the roster next week so David and I discuss whether or not fullback Roosevelt Nix will be the player who is waived to make room for him. We also go over the other few candidates as well.
Will new running back Jordan Todman have an expanded role Sunday against the 49ers? We both think so and that could include him returning kickoffs as well.
In the second half of the show, David and I welcome in Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle and we all discuss the upcoming game against the 49ers. We discuss both sides of the football in this interview and Eric is even gracious enough to give us his prediction for Sunday’s game at the end our chat. You can follow Eric on Twitter at @Eric_Branch.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
