Season 6, Episode 16 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start off by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason loss Saturday to the Buffalo Bills. We start by pointing out the few positives in that game and that includes the performance of wide receiver Martavis Bryant, who is now facing a four-game suspension.
Prior to the game, former Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch had some interesting comments about Bryant’s appeal on KDKA-TV, so David and I go over those and try to decipher them. Additionally, we explore the recent comments made by Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as he says the team drafted Sammie Coates this year because they were worried about Bryant’s future.
After talking more about the game against the Bills, David and I get the news that the Steelers traded for kicker Josh Scobee. You get to hear our reactions as the new breaks.
The Steelers will need to cut their roster to 75 by Tuesday evening, so David and I have a look at several players likely to be released.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
