The Pittsburgh Steelers made a minor transaction Monday afternoon as rookie undrafted running back Cameron Stingily was waived from Reserve/Injured with an injury settlement.
Stingily suffered a serious knee injury during the team’s preseason opening loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Northern Illinois product underwent surgery last week to repair a torn ligament and was waived injured as a result.
After clearing waivers, Stingily initially reverted back to the Steelers Reserve/Injured list.
