As training camp is fast approaching, the hope – and the thought – was Le’Veon Bell would have definitively known his status for the 2015 regular season.
Four days out from players reporting and the Pittsburgh Steelers running back hasn’t had his appeal heard. And according to a tweet sent out by Mark Kaboly, Roger Goodell isn’t even going to be apart of that process.
The commissioner is speaking in Washington, Pennsylvania, according to Kaboly.
It seems certain this issue will drag out during training camp. Hopefully, the eventual appeal will happen on an off day so Bell won’t have to miss a day of practice.
While it’s unclear who exactly will be hearing Bell’s case, executive Vice President Troy Vincent is a good guess.
