After taking their annual field trip Monday to build team unity at the local Dave & Buster’s, the Pittsburgh Steelers are back on the practice field Tuesday resuming their final OTA practices of the 2015 offseason. Thanks to steelers.com, we have our first video clip from Tuesday’s practice and it includes tight end Heath Miller making a catch in the end zone as the team works on some uncontested passing drills.

What’s significant about this is that Miller only has four touchdowns over the course of the last two seasons with three of them coming just last year. He was targeted 16 times in total inside the red-zone last year and caught 11 of those passes with 5 of them producing either a first down or a touchdown.
During his long career with the Steelers, Miller has caught 91 of the 133 passes (68.4%) thrown his way inside the red-zone and 57 of those have resulted in either a first down or touchdown.
The Steelers need to improve their red-zone percentage in 2015 after only scoring 52.73% time in 2014 and it will be interesting to see if Miller becomes a bigger focal point in the team’s effort to do just that.
