Season 5, Episode 116 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd out of action on the Wednesday, I have Alex Kozora back in the co-host chair as we dissect all of the main talking points that came out of the Pittsburgh Steelers first OTA practice of the offseason.
Alex and I talk about the possible workload that running back DeAngelo Williams might see in the first three games of the season to kick the show off and wonder how the rest of the distribution will go in those games and to whom.
Linebacker James Harrison is currently running with the second-team and Alex and I discuss how that might be good as it relates to Jarvis Jones. We also talk about what cornerback Cortez Allen had to say Tuesday and how we think the secondary might shake out come the start of the season.
In the second half of the show we revisit the discussion that David and I had last week about nose tackle Steve McLendon as to whether or not he should be extended this offseason. While Alex is a fan of McLendon’s, he thinks the Steelers should hold off on an extension. This results in a very healthy discussion as we are on the opposite sides of the fence when it comes to what we each think should happen.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
