Season 5, Episode 108 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I kick off this special edition of the show by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers selections of Mississippi cornerback Senquez Golson and Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates during day-two of the 2015 NFL Draft.
As you would expect, a lot of the talk about Golson is focused on his size and whether or not he can play outside, or if he will be just limited to the slot. We also discuss his chances of seeing the field some as a rookie after the first third of the season is in the books. We give you the long and short of the ball-hawking cornerback who led the nation in interceptions last season.
After spending a lot of time on Golson, we move on to discuss the selection of Coates in the third-round. We tell you what we think he is and isn’t and how he fits offensively down the line.
The Steelers still have five picks left to make on Saturday, so at the end of the show we go over several prospects that remain available that the team might have interest in.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
