Of the three players, Coates is easily the highest rated and it’s been known for several days now that he would be coming to town. The 6-1 speedy wide receiver finished his college career with a yards-per-reception average of 20.9.
Spain was a 2014 and 2013 All-Big 12 honorable mention. While he played some tackle in college, he’s more than likely going to be asked to play guard at the NFL level. Spain is expected to be drafted in the later rounds.
Clear is another player that is expected to be drafted late if drafted at all. He’s more of a blocker than anything else with limited upside as a pass catcher.
