Season 5, Episode 94 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers re-signing wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey on Thursday and why it was a good move that everyone should be on board with.
Nebraska defensive end/outside linebacker Randy Gregory tested positive for marijuana at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine and now that his stock might be falling, we discuss whether or not the Steelers should draft him if he’s still on the board come the time the No. 22 selection rolls around.
We move on to discuss a few of the extra point changes that might be passed and whether or not the kicker position will eventually be phased out completely in the future. We also talk about a beef that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has with the league regarding cameras.
In the last part of this show, David and I talk about several draft prospects who will more than likely be off the board come time for the Steelers first round selection and we discuss several that would then become targets. We also talk about the pre draft habits of general manager Kevin Colbert as it relates to first round draft picks.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
