North Dakota State outside linebacker/defensive end Kyle Emanuel reportedly has a pre draft visit scheduled with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Bo Marchionte of FootballInsiders.com.
Emanuel was a Capital One Academic All-America first team and unanimous FCS All-America first team selection last season after registering 97 total tackles. The Buck Buchanan Award winner and Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year led the FCS last season with 19.5 sacks and 32.5 tackles for loss.
Emanuel played in all 61 career games including 49 starts at North Dakota State and helped lead the Bison to a 58-3 record during that span with four conference championships and four NCAA national titles.
Emanuel figures to be drafted in the later rounds and he measured in at 6’3″, 255 pounds at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine.
