Happy Friday to all of you and I hope your March has been full of madness and perfect brackets as we enter the weekend.
As most of you prepare to settle in to watch the NCAA tournament games, I hope that you will take a little time to answer the five questions that have for you below.
I’d also like to take this time to thank all of you for visiting the site this past week as you can barely tell it is the offseason. Have a great weekend and peace and love to all of you.
1 – Free agent signings around the league have now slowed way down as we enter the second weekend of the new league year. There are still a few available players on the market that could play depth roles for the Pittsburgh Steelers, so if allowed to pick only one of them that is currently unsigned, who would it be and why?
2 – By now, most of you should be aware of the proposed rule and bylaw changes that were submitted by the NFL Competition Committee to be voted on next week at the owners meetings. The Indianapolis Colts proposed a 9-point touchdown in which a one-point bonus kick can be attempted from midfield should a team go for a two-point conversion following a touchdown and make it. While this his highly unlikely to pass, I would like to know if you would vote for or against it.
3 – Everything remains status quo with Steelers safety Troy Polamalu as team president Art Rooney II said Friday that there is no new update on his situation. So, do you think Polamalu will still be on the roster come May 31st, or will he be cut or decide to retire by then?
4- If forced to choose between Shane Ray and Alvin Dupree, which young outside linebacker would you pick and why?
5 – Which AFC North team has improved themselves the most during the first few weeks of the signing period?
