Happy Friday to all of you and I bet mine was weirder than yours. First, I am pleased to report that my brother showed back up alive after a four day cocaine binge that was funded by money I paid him on Sunday for work that he did for me the prior week. There’s a lot more that happened this afternoon, but this blahg is about the Pittsburgh Steelers and not me.
As we do every Friday, we have five questions below that we would like you to take time to answer in the comments below.
Peace and love to all of you and please know that the 2015 NFL Draft is now 34 days away. Thank you to everyone who visited the sire this past week.
1 – Where do you draw the line when it comes to character issues and the Steelers drafting players? Is it a big deal that Randy Gregory tested positive for marijuana at the combine after knowing he would be tested for the drug there? Do you want them to draft this kind of player in the first round?
2 – Sticking with the character theme, would you fine with the Steelers drafting cornerback Marcus Peters with the 22nd overall selection knowing what you know up to this point.
3 – True or false: Newly re-signed wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey will be on the Steelers Week 1, 53 man roster.
4 – Do you believe that the Steelers really had no plans whatsoever to re-sign Jason Worilds after claiming most of the offseason that they would like to have him back if at all possible? In other words, do you think Worilds’s retirement caught them by surprise?
5 – Will the kicker eventually be eliminated from the game of football completely? Kickoffs are almost a thing of the past and extra points appear to be headed in that same direction as well. 10 years from now teams will likely have to decide to go for it on fourth down or punt, yes?
Bonus: Name and rank your final four players you want the Steelers to draft in round one if still on the board at 22.
