The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed a few players from the CFL so far this offseason, but on Wednesday one of their former draft picks signed a contract to play north of the border.
According to The Winnipeg Sun, wide receiver Toney Clemons, who was drafted by the Steelers in seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Since being signed off of the Steelers practice squad in 2012, Clemons has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers and Carolina Panthers. He appeared in four games with the Jaguars late in the 2012 season and registered three catches for 41 yards with them.
