The Pittsburgh Steelers have now announced their seven inactive players for their Week 16 Sunday game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the team will reportedly get back one of their offensive line starters this week.
After missing the last three games with an ankle injury, tackle Marcus Gilbert is dresses and expected to start Sunday against the Chiefs. Also back in uniform this week is linebacker James Harrison, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury.
As expected, the Steelers will be without two defensive veterans this week as both cornerback Ike Taylor and safety Troy Polamalu are both inactive Sunday after both ended the week listed as doubtful on the injury report. This will be the second straight game that Taylor has missed. Polamalu is being held out with a knee injury that he suffered last Sunday and this will mark the third game that he’s missed this season.
Tight end Matt Spaeth is also inactive with an elbow injury.
