The Pittsburgh Steelers have now announced their seven inactive players for their Week 17 Sunday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals and once again the team will be without two of their veteran defensive players.
Safety Troy Polamalu (knee) and cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm) are both in inactive once again this week. Taylor hasnt played since he was injured in the last game against the Bengals while Polamalu will miss a second straight game.
With Polamalu out again, veteran safety Will Allen is expected to start alongside Mitchell in the Steelers secondary.
As expected, quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Justin Brown, defensive end Clifton Geathers and guard Chris Hubbard find themselves on the inactive list. Rounding out the list of seven players is tight end Michael Palmer (groin), who ended the week listed as questionable.
