The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday at Heinz Field and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.
Troy Polamalu – Polamalu injured a knee last Sunday in the win over the Atlanta Falcons and he ended the week listed as doubtful after failing to practice all week. Nobody is expecting Polamalu to play Sunday so expect him to be listed as one of the seven inactive players.
Ike Taylor – Taylor ended the week listed as doubtful and as a result hes expected to miss a second straight game. Taylor was listed once again as having shoulder and forearm injuries. With Taylor down, B.W. Webb is almost certain to dress once again.
Chris Hubbard – With it looking like tackle Marcus Gilbert will finally be back this week after missing the last three games with an ankle injury, Hubbard should go back to the inactive list.
Clifton Geathers – Geathers hasn’t dressed for a game since signing with the Steelers and there’s no reason to think that changes Sunday. The Steelers usually only like to dress five defensive linemen so Geathers should be the odd man out once again.
Landry Jones – Jones remains the third quarterback and he’s yet to dress for a game since he was drafted.
Justin Brown – Brown hasn’t dressed for several weeks and there’s no reason for him to dress Sunday against the Chiefs.
Dri Archer – Archer hasn’t dressed for the last several games and it’s not looking like he will dress Sunday against the Chiefs. The Steelers are comfortable using wide receiver Markus Wheaton on kickoffs and running back Josh Harris to back up starter Le’Veon Bell.
