The Pittsburgh Steelers came out of their Sunday win over the Kansas City Chiefs relatively injury free but a few players will have to be monitored as the week progresses as the team prepares to play the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday night.
According to head coach Mike Tomlin Tuesday, linebacker Vince Williams (ankle) and tackle Kelvin Beachum (lower back) will be evaluated this week as both suffered injuries Sunday against the Chiefs.
Tomlin later said that he expects Beachum to play Sunday, but that he may be limited this week in practice.
Tomlin also said that tight end Matt Spaeth (elbow), safety Troy Polamalu (knee) and cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm) will continue to be monitored this week as well. All three of those players missed the game Sunday against the Chiefs because of their injuries.
