The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 42-21 Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium and it appears as though the team came out of the game fairly healthy.
According to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, cornerback Ike Taylor suffered a knee contusion and AC sprain during the game.
Tomlin says he took Taylor out of game after the long touchdown to Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green because he didn’t think the veteran could run well enough with the knee contusion.
The Steelers were without the services of linebacker James Harrison (knee) and tackle Marcus Gilbert Sunday as both were inactive due to injuries.
The Steelers will now get ready to play the Atlanta Falcons on the road next Sunday. Tomlin will meet the media again on Tuesday to go over the injury report again and preview the falcons game.
