Steelers Can Only Be The 3, 4 Or 5 Seed In AFC

Even though the Pittsburgh Steelers have a chance of tying the Denver Broncos with a final record of 11-5, they will not be able to capture the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

According to Elias Sports Bureau via Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers can only be the 3, 4 or 5 seed in the AFC at the conclusion of the regular season.

The Steelers clinched a playoff spot Sunday thanks to their 20-12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs and that now sets up a regular season finale next Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC North division title.

The Steelers will have a chance at grabbing the No. 3 seed in the AFC with a win next Sunday night over the Bengals.
