Updating a previous report, the Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly signed former Liberty cornerback Kevin Fogg to their practice squad after working him out on Tuesday, according to Trey Robinson.
Hard work & determination pays off…just ask @Kevin_Fogg! Congrats on signing to Steelers PSquad http://t.co/bpyMjtwmxZ #blackandGOLD #RES

Fogg, who was named All-Big South Conference First Team last year with Liberty, spent time with the Miami Dolphins during training camp and the preseason after being signed as an undrafted free agent. He measured in at his March Pro Day at 5094 and weighed 182 pounds.
In addition to working out Fogg on Tuesday, the Steelers also reportedly worked out free agent cornerback Anthony Gaitor.
The Steelers likely needed an extra cornerback body due them placing Cortez Allen on injured reserve this past Saturday with a thumb injury. In addition, there’s a good chance that veteran cornerback Ike Taylor might be limited this week in practice due to him suffering injuries to his knee and shoulder in the Sunday win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Steelers will need to release a player from their practice squad in order to make room for Fogg and that announcement will likely be coming from the team at some point later in the day.
