The Cincinnati Bengals have a new player as of Wednesday and it’s former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Chris Carter.
Carter, who was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth-round of the 2011 NFL Draft, was waived by Pittsburgh just prior to the start of the season.
Carter has since spent time on the roster of the Indianapolis Colts but was released by them back in early October.
The Bengals lost linebacker Jayson Dimanche to an injury this past week and he was a big contributor on special teams. Carter is expected to help out in the capacity as early as this week in the game against the Steelers.
