Bengals Injury Report: Several Players Still Sidelined Thursday By Flu Bug

The Cincinnati Bengals practiced on Christmas day and it appears as though the flu bug is continuing to make its way around the locker room.

Not practicing Thursday were linebacker Chris Carter (knee), safety Reggie Nelson (illness), cornerback Terence Newman (illness), kicker Mike Nugent (illness) and tackle Andrew Whitworth (not injury related). Nugent and Whitworth are new additions to the report.

Cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris (illness) also failed to practice Thursday and he’s already being listed as out for the Sunday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Limited Thursday for the Bengals were defensive end Wallace Gilberry (hamstring), wide receiver A.J. Green (biceps), linebacker Emmanuel Lamur (hamstring) and wide receiver James Wright (knee).

Practicing fully Thursday were quarterback Andy Dalton (illness), cornerback Darqueze Dennard (shin) and tight end Jermaine Gresham (illness).
