The Pittsburgh Steelers will have veteran cornerback Ike Taylor back for their Sunday home game against the New Orleans Saints as he was given the green light by the doctors after visiting with them on Monday.
Ike Taylor says he's got the green light to practice but he "doesn't want to do anything stupid" and coaches will decide if he plays vs. NO

Taylor, who has been sidelined every since he broke his forearm in the Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers, is also expected to start against the Saints. Taylor, however, said Monday that the coaches will ultimately make that decision.
Taylor has been practicing on a limited basis for several weeks now and his return to the starting lineup certainly won’t hurt a Steelers secondary that has already given up 40 explosive plays of 20 yards or more through the air this season.
If Taylor does indeed wind up starting, it will be interesting to see who the Steelers decide to go with as their third cornerback off of the bench in their nickel sub package. Over the course of the last few weeks both Brice McCain and Antwon Blake have seen playing time with Cortez Allen being relegated to only playing on special teams.
Is this the week that Allen gets back in the lineup? We’ll see, but at least it’s good news that Taylor will be back.
