Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount cleared waivers Wednesday and on Thursday he will sign with the New England Patriots, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.

Blount is expected to sign a two-year deal for the minimum that includes incentives.
Blount played for the Patriots in 2013 after they acquired him via a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Blount will likely receive a little more work in New England than he was getting in Pittsburgh. The news of him signing back with the Patriots is not a shock at all.
