The Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly lost one of their defensive lineman that they had stashed away on their practice squad as the Arizona Cardinals have signed rookie defensive end Josh Mauro to their 53 man roster.

Mauro was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in May and played well enough during the preseason to warrant being signed to the Steelers 10-man practice squad. The young defensive end played just over 100 snaps during the preseason and was credited with 10 total tackles including two sacks.
The loss of Mauro now leaves the Steelers with only one defensive lineman on their practice squad and that player is Nick Williams, who was drafted by the Steelers in the seventh-round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
The news that the Cardinals are poaching players off of the Steelers practice squad is not a bit surprising. The Steelers now have an open spot to fill on their practice squad, but will more than likely wait until next Tuesday to do that.
