Season 5, Episode 34 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I start this show off by going back in time to remember the last time the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Indianapolis Colts in 2011. The Steelers won that game 23-20, but so much has changed for both of these two teams since then.
We move on to put some finishing touches on the win Monday night over the Houston Texans and that leads to us talking about the Steelers offense as we try to put a finger on what is causing a unit with so many good players to be so inconsistent. Is quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a big part of the problem? Is it the play calling? Is it second down? Is it that they don’t attack the middle of the field enough? We look at all of those angles and also include some very bad math in the discussion. We think you will be entertained by that.
In the second half the show, David and I welcome back Phil B. Wilson to the show. Phil now covers the Colts for scout.com and he helps us preview the upcoming game. We get his thoughts on the Colts offense, defense and special teams and also manage to get a prediction for the game out of him.
