Pittsburgh Steelers backup safety Ross Ventrone has left the game against the Indianapolis Colts with a hamstring injury midway through the third quarter.
Ventrone has been solid contributor on special teams since being promoted to the active roster three weeks ago. His return to the doubtful.
The Steelers hope to get safety Shamarko Thomas back from his hamstring injury next week.
The Steelers currently lead the Colts 42-20.
