Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons literally left it all out on the field Monday night in the 30-23 win over the Houston Texans.
The Steelers veteran defensive signal caller was shown losing the contents of his stomach a couple of times midway through the second quarter, but after leaving the game briefly, he returned and finished the game with a team-high 12 total tackles.
Timmons said after the game that he took a foot to the stomach on a previous play when attempting to tackle Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and that’s what led to him puking on the field.
Perhaps we can call Timmons’ lunch loss a rally puke of sorts as the Steelers scored 24 unanswered points after that sickness episode took place.
Monday wasn’t the first time that Timmons has been sick during a game this season as he also threw up on the field during the Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
