The Pittsburgh Steelers final injury report of the week is now out following Saturday’s practice and it looks like defensive end Brett Keisel (knee) and safety Mike Mitchell (knee) will both be good to go Monday night against the Houston Texans.
Keisel and Mitchell both practiced again Saturday and both end the week listed as probable on the Steelers injury report. The two defensive players were unable to finish the game last Sunday because of knee sprains.
The news is not as encouraging for linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee) as he ends the week listed as questionable after being limited again on Saturday. If Shazier misses a fourth straight game, Sean Spence will once again start in his place.
Safety Shamarko Thomas (hamstring) will miss a second straight game this week and he will join nose tackle Steve McLendon (shoulder) and cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm) on the inactive list this week. Thomas injured his left hamstring back in Week 5 and was unable to practice again Saturday.
