The Indianapolis Colts have now submitted their Thursday injury report for the upcoming game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers and for a second straight day two of their key players on offense failed to practice.
Remaining sidelined Thursday were running back Trent Richardson (hamstring) and wide receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow). As of right now it is unclear as to whether or not either of those two player will be ready to play Sunday, but according to reports out of Indianapolis, the MRI that was done recently on Wayne’s injured elbow revealed “nothing of significance,” according to head coach Chuck Pagano.
Linebacker Erik Walden (not injury related) was added to the Colts injury report Thursday as he was given the day off.
After failing to practice Wednesday, tight end Jack Doyle (knee) was able to work on a limited basis during Thursday’s practice.
Practicing fully Thursday were cornerback Darius Butler (ankle), defensive tackle Arthur Jones (ankle) and tackle Gosder Cherilus (not injury related). Butler had been limited Wednesday.
