Season 5, Episode 19 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd currently still unable to participate due to the passing of his father earlier in the week, Alex Kozora joins me once again and we kick off this episode by talking about what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say during his Tuesday press conference. We also run down the Steelers injury report heading into Wednesday’s practice.
Alex and I try to focus on some positives in this episode and not only do we wrap up some final thoughts on the loss to the Baltimore Ravens Thursday night, we start getting you ready for the Steelers Sunday night game against the Carolina Panthers.
We throw around a few stats in the first part of this show and talk about how and why the Steelers offense needs to start helping out the defense more.
In the second part of this podcast I am joined by Jonathan Jones, who covers the Panthers for the Charlotte Observer. Jonathan does a great job of letting us know what the 2-0 Panthers have going for them on both sides of the football heading into this game and we discuss several individual players in addition.
Jonathan also brings us up to speed on the current situation with Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy, who is now unlikely to play Sunday night against the Steelers.
