Season 5, Episode 23 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into previewing the Pittsburgh Steelers game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and we tell you why there’s no such thing as a gimme these days in the NFL as parody is in full swing.
We look at the Steelers on both sides of the football and talk more about what we may or may not see this week out of linebacker James Harrison, Dri Archer and Lance Moore. We also discuss the nickel cornerback situation once again and how the Steelers defense might have a tough time covering Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans. We also agree that Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon might not be a pushover.
We examine the record of head coach Mike Tomlin against teams with a losing record and I take the opportunity to throw a few numbers into this discussion.
It’s Friday, so David and I talk about a few other teams around the NFL and end the episode by giving our weekly picks. We both have the Steelers winning Sunday, but believe the game might be close.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
