Season 5, Episode 22 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I start off this show by running down the injury report of the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into their Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With Jarvis Jones out an extended amount of time, the Steelers signed recently retired linebacker James Harrison. We give you our thoughts on that move and what we expect as far as a rotation between Harrison and Arthur Moats goes moving forward. We also discuss Harrison’s past domestic violence charge as it relates to the current climate in the NFL.
The Steelers might also have to shake up their secondary a little with Ike Taylor going down injured so we go over all of the options for you in detail. We also discuss how they might not need a third cornerback that much this week against the Buccaneers.
We talk about the lack of playing time that wide receiver Lance Moore received Sunday night and what it might mean for him moving forward based on the comments made Tuesday by head coach Mike Tomlin. We even speculate what the Week 4 inactive list might look like on Sunday and how there might only be one decision that needs to be made.
In the second part of this show, David and I are joined by Ira Kaufman, who covers the Buccaneers for the Tampa Tribune. As usual, we discuss the Steelers upcoming opponent with a beat writer that has covered the team for quite a while. Ira gives us his great insight on the Buccaneers problems so far this season and even offers up a prediction for Sunday.
