Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier has left the Sunday night game against the Carolina Panthers injury with a right knee injury and will not return.
Shazier, the Steelers first round draft pick, was injured by friendly fire early in the second half. He was replaced by Sean Spence.
Shazier missed time during training camp with a bruised knee.
The Steelers currently lead the Panthers 9-3
