According to a Sunday evening report by Pro Football Talk, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell has until November 1 to resolve the DUI charge that he incurred during the preseason in order to avoid the mandatory two-game suspension under the new substance-abuse policy.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon recently pleaded guilty to his pending DUI charges in order to avoid an additional two games.
Bell and fellow Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount both still face a possible one-game suspension due to them both being charged with possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in Ross Township back in August.
It is currently unknown as to when Bell’s initial hearing is, but expect him to get this taken care of prior to the November 1 deadline.
