It’s been several practices since we’ve had a fight to talk about but we now have a new one to discuss as Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown got into it with Shaquille Richardson early in the Tuesday session.
According to Alex Kozora, Brown took exception to something that Richardson did during drills and responded by throwing a right at the rookie out of Arizona.
Richardson, the first of two fifth-round selections back in May, was suspended by the Pac-12 in 2011 following him being ejected from the game against UCLA for fighting with 4 seconds left in the first half.
As for Brown, he’s no stranger to fighting with defensive backs during training camp as he got into a good scuffle with veteran cornerback Ike Taylor two years ago today.
The last thing the team needs is for Brown to break his hand while taking a swing at a rookie, so hopefully that’s the end of that scuffle.
