The Pittsburgh Steelers Saturday practice is now underway and it looks like the team has gotten a few of their banged up players back on the field.
According to our very own Alex Kozora, the only players that look like they will be sidelined for the Saturday session are safety Mike Mitchell (groin), linebacker Jordan Zumwalt (groin), wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (head), cornerback Shaquille Richardson (groin) and tight end Rob Blanchflower (ankle). Veteran tight end Heath Miller (undisclosed) is also sidelined Saturday, but that might be a maintenance day for him. Nose tackle Steve McLendon is also missing.
Richardson suffered groin tightness during the Friday night practice and is the newest player on the injury report. The other two draft picks, Zumwalt and Blanchflower, are both stacking quite a few missed practices.
Players that were out Friday night, linebacker Jarvis Jones (groin), running back LeGarrette Blount (undisclosed), running back Dri Archer (knee) and wide receiver Justin Brown (nose) are suited up for the start of the padded practice.
