It looks like we’ll be waiting a little bit longer for the Pittsburgh Steelers to announce their first wave of roster cuts.
According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers will wait until Tuesday morning to announce how their roster will be trimmed down to the league mandated 75 players. The deadline is 4:00 p.m. EST so it appears they’re in no hurry and could very well be watching the waiver wire to see if any notable names are released between now and then.
Steelers plan to make no cuts today. Will do so tomorrow morning. Have until 4 p.m. Tuesday to get down to 75

The team is expected to practice on Monday, however, so it will be interesting to see if all 90 players currently on the roster are observed by the media as being in attendance. This assumes that the media will even have access to practice.
Several teams around the league have already trimmed their rosters down to 75 players and more league-wide cuts are expected to be announced later on Monday.
