The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Carolina Panthers Thursday night at Heinz Field in their 2014 preseason finale and two of their draft picks won’t dress one again due to injuries.
Linebacker Jordan Zumwalt (groin) and cornerback Shaquille Richardson (knee) will miss yet another game Thursday night, according to Scott Brown of ESPN.com. Both players have not played since the preseason opener and it looks like both will be waived on Saturday or placed on injured reserve if their injuries are long term.
Cornerback Cortez Allen (finger) and center Cody Wallace (finger) will also sit this game out as well, according to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
With Wallace sidelined once again, rookie offensive lineman Wesley Johnson will likely get a lot of playing at center after starter Maurkice Pouncey is done for the night.
