The Pittsburgh Steelers have now wrapped up their Monday practice and afterwards head coach Mike Tomlin updated the injury report heading into the preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers.
According to Missi Matthews on the Monday afternoon edition of Steelers Live, Tomlin said that cornerback Devin Smith (hamstring), safety Will Allen (hamstring) and wide receiver Lance Moore (undisclosed) were all able to return to work after all three players sat out the game Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Linebackers Sean Spence (knee) and Jason Worilds (knee) weren’t able to practice Monday per Matthews, who added that Tomlin said he didn’t believe the right knee injuries suffered Thursday night by both players are serious.
According to Scott Brown of ESPN.com, Spence said he only sprained his PCL against the Eagles.
Tomlin is expected to meet the media again on Tuesday and he will likely provide another injury report during his press conference.
