The Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday OTA practice is now underway and apparently there’s already been a fight.
According to Scott Brown of ESPN.com, rookie offensive lineman Wesley Johnson got into it with defensive end Cameron Heyward following an interception by rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier. Several players were apparently needed to pull Heyward off of the rookie.
Johnson was drafted by the Steelers with their second of two fifth-round picks in 2014 NFL Draft out of Vanderbilt.
No fight scorecard of bout was posted, but this appears to have been the second fight of the offseason as linebacker Vic So’oto and guard Will Simmons reportedly took a few swings at each other last week.
The heck with the fight, the big news here is the interception made by Shazier as Brown describes it as being an “unreal interception” that included a “leaping grab”.
