It’s only May, but former NFL head coach Herm Edwards has already made his Super Bowl prediction and it might just surprise you.
The charismatic ESPN analysts said Tuesday that he predicts that the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl XLIX, which will be played Feb.1 in Glendale, AZ.

After missing the playoffs for a sixth straight season in 2013, the Buccaneers fired head coach Greg Schiano and replaced him with former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith.
As for the Steelers, a return to the post season would certainly be a welcomed sight after back-to-back 8-8 seasons.
Currently, the Steelers are 12/1 to win the AFC while the Buccaneers are 28/1 to win the NFC.
Edwards will more than likely change his pick a few more times prior to the start of the 2014 regular season, but for now, we’ll just enjoy his Steelers optimism on the first day of OTA practices.
As Edwards once said, “You play to win the game!”
