Report: Steelers WR Antonio Brown Has Fired Agent Drew Rosenhaus, Considering Roc Nation

According to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has fired agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Getlin goes on to report that Brown is now considering hiring Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports to represent him next.

Two other high-profile wide receivers, Victor Cruz of the New York Giants and Hakeem Nicks of the Indianapolis Colts are already represented by Roc Nation as is New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith.

Brown, who was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth-round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Central Michigan, was voted the team MVP last season after catching 110 passes for 1,499 yards and eight touchdowns. He signed a five-year contract extension in July of 2012 worth $41.7 million.

You have to wonder why Brown has all of sudden decided to dump Rosenhaus. His current contract runs through 2017, so hopefully this isn’t a sign of him already being unhappy with what he’s scheduled to earn over the course of the next four seasons.
